About Our Accommodations

Situated in St. Andrews by-the-Sea, on the shores of beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay, the Treadwell Inn pampers  you with contemporary luxuries and surrounds you with century old traditions and hospitality.  Whether you are relaxing in your beautifully appointed room or sitting in the seaside garden, our St. Andrews Inn offers breathtaking sunset vistas and a panoramic view of the world famous Fundy Tides.

History in the making…

Treadwell Inn was originally built Circa 1820 by ships chandler, John Treadwell.  This meticulously crafted building later served as the Town’s Customs House, as proclaimed by a stained glass window over the entrance.  To create the atmosphere of this era, owners Annette Lacey and Jerry Mercer faithfully restored the architectural details and furnished the guest rooms with period antiques.  The St. Andrews Civic Trust recognized the restoration and preservation efforts by awarding them the prestigious “Award of Merit”.

It’s your time so enjoy it as you wish…
